The truth is that no one has a plan. Sure, there are the customary options: go to school; get a job; move in with your lover; or chuck everything and wander the world with a backpack. But just when you've charted a plan, everything changes. Maybe your parent dies suddenly while you're in another hemisphere with that backpack, or you screw things up with that lover. So you try a new plan  and maybe, one day, you find that you're okay with your own self.
